ORCHIDEE

orchids - suitable for: Epiphytes - Semi epiphytes - Terricoles

This substrate is specifically formulated for the cultivation of the main orchid varieties, like Cattleya, Dendrobium, Cymbidium and Phalaenopsis.

The mixture’s various components have been selected to meet the needs of both the epiphyte and semi-epiphyte species. The former grow anchored to the bark of trees, with their roots exposed to air, while the latter vegetate, with their roots covered by plant debris.

Orchids can therefore be seen as plants that require their roots to be both moist and well-ventilated at the same time.

For these reasons, Comfort Line for Orchids has been specially formulated using pine bark, coconut fibre and peat.

Thanks to the use of these materials, this soil offers the porosity and drainage characteristics required for the development of all orchid varieties, while also allowing for a sufficient water and nutrient reserve.
